WITec’s product range features the world’s best confocal Raman microscopes, which can be equipped with AFM, SNOM, and even SEM in select configurations. Our systems can be adapted to the individual requirements of our customers. They contribute worldwide to new insights and solutions in many areas of science, research and development.

To support our growth, we are looking for a motivated colleague to join our Software Development team in Ulm, Germany.

Software Engineer (f/m/d)

Your Tasks:

Collaboration in our self-organised, agile and cross-functional software team

Planning, development and testing of new software components for our microscope series

Measurement data acquisition

Data evaluation

Data management

Presentation of measurement data

Maintenance and expansion of existing software

Your Qualifications:

Experience in software development

Completed technical studies in the field of computer science

Profound and extensive knowledge of:

C#, Python

WPF, .Net environment

Visual Studio, Windows operating system

Quick comprehension and familiarization with new information technologies

Creativity and flexibility

Personal responsibility and initiative

Ability to work independently and in a team, problem-solving skills, analytical and solution-oriented thinking and a structured way of working

Good written and spoken German and English skills
