US Adventure Sales Specialist (North America)
Competitive base salary of $55,000 per year + unlimited commissions earnings + bonus plan. On Target Earnings Year 1: $64,000
Based in Denver, CO (Hybrid work model – 3 days at home, 2 days in our RiNo area office)

Our ambitious, multi-national team is looking for Adventure Sales Specialists to help propel our growth in North America and beyond. You’ll create impact by bringing amazing “Macs Moments” to more customers by helping them find their perfect self-guided walking or cycling adventure. We are seeking sales team members who will help us reach our targets & drive customer loyalty in the North American market.
What you’ll do
Adventure Sales
Following up on warm inquiries within the expected time frame.
Building rapport and understanding the needs of your customers.
Preparing quotes and customizing them to ensure they meet the needs of the customers.
Following up on and converting quotes to bookings.
Build a book of business with loyal Macs Adventure customers.
Ensuring that every detail of your customers’ trip is organized and documented to the highest standard in the CRM system.
Achieve individual monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Provide in-depth knowledge of Macs Adventure tours to prospective customers.
Utilize multiple channels including email, webform, phone, and live chat to make sales.
Use sales technology such as a CRM and Zendesk efficiently.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of trips for customers.
Managing customer needs
Working with our internal operations team and our suppliers to ensure that the customer’s trip is arranged to perfectly meet their needs.
Supporting customers with all pre, during and post trip questions, amendments, and challenges.
Connecting with your customers pre and post trip to ensure expectations are managed; to ensure feedback is gained in a timely manner, to discover any issues and drive continuous product improvement.
Teamwork
Be an active positive member of the team.
Actively support your colleagues and be there for them.
Contribute and participate in team calls and meetings.
What you’ll bring
1+ years in a Sales role with a proven track record.
Passionate about adventure travel and âlivingâ the Macs product is a must.
Must have experience selling to the US market. (Canada is a plus)
Direct-to-consumer sales experience is a plus.
Sales skills including proven past results and an excellent track record.
Communication skills: Highly confident, competent, and articulate individual who can communicate professionally across all levels and build rapport with customers.
Interpersonal and team skills, be a valuable and respected team member.
Problem solving skills: You proactively identify problems and bring solutions that will solve them.
Planning and organizational skills: prioritizing your work and perform in a consistent and efficient manner.
IT skills: proven knowledge and experience with CRM systems. Knowledgeable and able to work with the latest technology.

WORK WEEK: A 37.5-hour work week (7.5 hour work day)
PTO + HOLIDAYS: Initially 15 days PTO increasing to 20 days after 6 years’ service, plus 10 paid federal holidays.
