LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Grant Writer to join our clients team. As a Grant Writer, you will play a crucial role in securing funding for our organization by preparing compelling grant proposals and applications. This position requires a keen ability to research funding opportunities, articulate project objectives, and effectively communicate our organization’s mission and goals to potential donors.

Responsibilities:

Research and identify potential grant opportunities from various sources including government agencies, foundations, and corporations
Collaborate with program managers and subject matter experts to gather necessary information for grant proposals
Write clear, concise, and persuasive grant proposals and grant applications
Develop budgets and financial statements to accompany grant proposals
Maintain a calendar of grant deadlines and ensure timely submission of proposals
Cultivate relationships with grant-making organizations and donors
Track and report on the status of grant applications and funding received
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field is preferred but not required
California residency is required for this role
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
Strong research and analytical abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and grant management software
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Working Hours:

Monday-Friday
40 hours per week
8:00am-5:00pm PST
