Summary of Job Duties:

The Web Content Manager is responsible for overseeing the development, organization, and optimization of digital content across the company’s website and other online platforms. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to create engaging and relevant content that aligns with business goals and enhances user experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of content management systems (CMS), SEO best practices, and analytics tools. Key responsibilities include managing content schedules, ensuring content quality, analyzing performance metrics, and implementing strategies to improve site traffic and engagement. Strong communication, project management, and creative skills are essential for success in this role.

 

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Baccalaureate Degree in Communications, Marketing or other related field.

Minimum of three years of writing and editing experience, with web content experience preferred.

This position requires a strong background in communications, project management and best practices in user experience on the web.

This person is responsible for coordinating multiple projects from initiation through post-launch implementation and maintenance and directly communicating project status with team members and management.

Working to help set the strategic direction with colleges and departments, this person will be able to create, coordinate, process, edit, manage and publish content for the health system and its associated websites on an ongoing basis.
