If working remotely isnt for you, we also have a large office in Berlin and soon in NYC that you can choose to work from. What you’ll do

Join our People Operations team, guided by a lead, supported by two specialists, and fueled by a dedicated working student. Our team is working hybrid and we are based in Berlin and Cologne. While we work well remotely, we also come into the office regularly to collaborate face-to-face.

We’re not just about paperwork; we’re the heartbeat of employee experience, crafting seamless administrative services while spearheading innovative HR projects. Dive into the heart of our operations, where you’ll take charge of German payroll intricacies and collaborate closely with the team for strategic insights and solutions.

Your day-to-day activities:

Complete administrative tasks and prepare employment contracts and payroll (in collaboration with our Finance Team and external service provider) for our German HQ and international subsidiaries

Ensure a great onboarding experience for our new employees by owning the eyeo-wide onboarding process and suggesting improvements in close collaboration with IT Ops and Workplace Experience Teams

Manage the project to transition freelancers to employees

Advise on German labor law-related questions

Create and/ or improve processes

Collaborate with our People Partner and Compensation & Benefits team members

Comply with local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions

Work on various HR projects and cooperate with different stakeholders

What you bring to the table

A minimum of 5 years of experience in HR Operations in international and fast-paced organizations

Solid knowledge of German labor law is a must! Additional countries like Poland, France, Romania, the UK, and the US are a plus

Experience working with an EOR is beneficial

Works Council knowledge is a plus

Fluent in English and German

Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail

Ability to work independently and autonomously, in a structured way

Strong solution orientation, and ability to develop pragmatic solutions with a focus on impact

Willingness to take on full ownership and drive new initiatives from the start until finalization, strong hands-on mentality, and can-do attitude
