About this role

 

This is a founding role based out of our London, UK office (located in the Marylebone neighborhood). You’ll be responsible for developing and executing an events and field marketing strategy that’ll enable Writer to build strong partnerships and customer relationships that drive pipeline and revenue. We’re looking for a creative thinker who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys the challenge of working with creative teams, and is determined to make a difference in a dynamic and rapidly growing organization.

Your responsibilities

Create, manage, and measure impactful field marketing tactics that generate millions of sales pipeline

Identify, negotiate, and secure new sponsorships, vendors, and technologies

Manage a heavy calendar of field marketing programs including executive dinners, customer days, and industry events

Effectively collaborate with internal teams including sales, product, customer success, engineering, and marketing to ensure successful execution

Obsessed with working with customers, learning about them, and their pain points

Optimize ROI for event budget and resources

Is this you?

Exceptional strategic planning and execution skills

Self-starter, proactive, and thinks ahead

Proven track record in developing and managing field marketing and demand generation strategies, from intimate executive dinners to large-scale industry conferences (huge plus if you’ve ran your company’s user conference)

Loves working on teams — especially with sales

Aren’t afraid of tools like Asana, Figma, and SFDC

Are data-driven and can break down problems into smaller parts

Passion for generative AI (if you use Writer — even better!)

Ability to travel up to 20% of the time for events
