Identity Analyst (Remote) in Helena, Montana

Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for an Identity Analyst to define and document release scope and objectives based on stakeholder and end-user needs, federal requirements, and industry best practices. This position will be fully remote located within the United States.

Responsibilities

The Identity Analyst defines and documents release scope and objectives based on stakeholder and end-user needs, federal requirements, and industry best practices. The analyst will apply their knowledge of IAM identity services and functionality to document customer use cases, enterprise service requirements, and integration requirements.

The Identity Analyst responsibilities include:

Develop and maintain IAM Identity Requirements Specification, integration Requirements Specification documents, and integration system design documents

Lead identity integration analysis

Coordinate elaboration of identity service requests to include meeting with customer applications, documenting use cases and documenting requirements

Develop and maintain IAM identity use cases and activity diagrams

Provide support to the IAM VA Project Managers (PMs) for business and development/integration meetings

Maintain requirements and requirements traceability in the GitHub tool

Support development of identity information briefings

Support identity functionality demonstrations

Identify and outline all applicable tasks and milestones necessary to complete the integration and enterprise service release on time.

Define relationships (dependencies) between tasks.

Define dependencies between tasks.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business or Technical discipline and 4 years experience. 4 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.

At least 3 year’s Department of Veteran Affairs experienceanalyzing business and user needs and translating those needs into requirements specifications according to VA standards, is preferred.

Current VA OIT experience with active VA system access preferred.

Experience with Agile Methodologies, UML, building Use Cases for and applying testability against requirements and specifications.

Competency in MS Word, MS Excel, MSSharePoint, Visio, and ServiceNow.

Good communications, analytical, and writing skills.

Ability to work independently within a team-oriented environment.

Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust clearance.

Preferred Skills and Experience

Experience with VA Identity and Access Management identity functionality and integration processes.

Familiarity with federal requirements for Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM).

Familiarity withGit Hub and JIRA.

Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust

Posted Pay Range

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
