About the College of Allied Health
The College of Allied Health Sciences educates and prepares future allied health and other health science professionals to provide high quality service in their respective fields. In conjunction with community-based partners, students achieve clinical skills and learn the values of critical thinking, good communication, teamwork, cultural competence, and service learning. The college’s faculty is committed to excellence in research, teaching, service, and leadership. The College of Allied Health Sciences consists of four academic units including: Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders; Department of Rehabilitation, Exercise and Nutrition Sciences; Department of Clinical Health and Information Sciences; and the School of Social Work.
Job Overview
The University of Cincinnati’s College of Allied Health Science (CAHS) is accepting applications for a full-time (100% FTE) Human Resources Coordinator. This position will be responsible for carrying out various human resources processes, programs, and procedures. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including leave administration, timekeeping, record-keeping, compliance, HRIS entry, grant compliance, clinical affiliation agreement management, and other dean’s office priorities when needed. This position will also be expected to support the University’s mission and commitment to excellence in our students, faculty, staff, and all our activities.
This position will report to the HR Manager and will have some work from home flexibility (up to two days a week is typical) after training.
Essential Functions
Coordinate the administration of various human resources programs (e.g., leave administration, timekeeping, payroll processing, reporting/analytics, record-keeping and compliance monitoring for the college’s organizational units).
Draft and develop communication (verbally and in writing) to varied audiences of all levels in a clear, effective, and persuasive manner.
Act as Personnel Change Request (PCR) initiator for some organizational units.
Analyze various HR data for quality improvement recommendations.
Provide department assistance or back-up administration for various HR functions, including but not limited to, talent acquisition, onboarding, separations, compensation, benefits and training.
Assist with implementing policies to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
Responsible for accurate and timely storage of HR-related documents in accordance with UC’s Records Retention Schedule.
Assist with grant compliance by monitoring faculty, staff, and student grant effort and adjusting as needed.
Manage the clinical affiliation contract signature process, serving as the liaison between UC’s Office of General Counsel and CAHS’s clinical programs.
Perform related duties and projects based on departmental need.
Required Education
Bachelor’s Degree.
Four (4) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.

Effective Communication skills(verbally and written).
Collaborate with academic units, and different levels of leaderships.
