POSITION SUMMARY
The Corporate Human Resources Coordinator will provide support for corporate employees across Hub. The position is located in the Chicago Loop and will also remotely support employees across the US and Canada. This role reports to the Corporate Senior Manager, Human Resources.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
System updates and talent transactions â Maintain Corporate HR data using Workday. Follow through promptly on employee and leader requests and inquiries.
Provide onboarding and offboarding support: Coordinate and deliver new hire orientation, process I-9s and support new hires as they complete required steps.
Manage the Corporate HR Q&A inbox proactively. Collect, analyze and report out trends.
Coordinate employee referral program.
Work with Payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing.
Project support
Learning and Development support â Position will assist and lead a variety of learning initiatives with corporate employees including new hire orientation and specific modules of our manager and employee training curriculum.
Deliver New Hire Orientation and
Communication â In collaboration with team members and HR SME’s, create and deliver relevant content and educate managers and employees about key talent processes and initiatives. This includes updating and maintaining our intranet Seismic site for HR related topics.
Cross-HR collaboration â Work with field HR and corporate SME colleagues to deliver the best employee experience to our internal customers.
Talent and Organizational Development â Gain broader exposure by supporting the Talent and OD team on programming preparation, follow up, and associated tasks related to delivering organization wide training and OD initiatives.
Operational efficiency projects â Identify opportunities and assist the HR team by driving initiatives that improve efficiencies across a number of areas in HR.
Employee engagement â support and organize engagement activities on-site and work with the Associate HR Business Partner to plan events and manage Intern Program.
REQUIREMENTS
1-2 years of experience maintaining data, administrative work, handling sensitive and confidential information, or HRIS system updates.
Professional maturity appropriate for maintaining confidentiality
Bachelor’s degree preferred (or commiserate experience) in HR, Business, Communications, or a related field.
Demonstrated proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Workday (HRIS) are essential.
Detail oriented and organized when reviewing, consolidating, and manipulating employee data.
Ability to influence business decisions using data analysis and analytics.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing business needs and demands.
Ability to learn new systems and take initiative to grow skills to improve processes and productivity.
Success driving local/on-site community building and engagement initiatives.
