Overview

Our Health Insurance Telesales Agents are responsible for answering inbound calls from individuals who may be interested in purchasing Medicare Advantage health plans and initiate outbound calls, reach out to prospective or current members to address their inquiries, and review our various products and services.

 

Responsibilities

Engage in active listening to effectively identify specific inquiries and concerns while meticulously documenting required information.

Ask pertinent and probing questions while conducting needs assessments based on the invaluable feedback of prospective members.

Educate and guide members toward selecting the plan that aligns with their unique requirements.

Initiate outbound calls, reach out to prospective or current members to address their inquiries, and review our various products and services

 

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years previous Medicare experience

Active resident health insurance license, and willingness to acquire additional nonresident license in MA(No cost-BP will coordinate and cover the licensing fees

AHIP certification required (BP will cover cost and Provide Link) Due before training starts

Must have CE complete if due for renewal within 6 months of training start date

Grit; demonstrated passion and perseverance towards goals despite obstacles or distractions

Comfortable with “soft sell” techniques

Computer literate (Microsoft Windows, keyboarding skills, strong systems aptitude)

Proficient in multitasking and navigating multiple screens while using active listening skills in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work regularly scheduled shifts within the specified hours of operation including the training period, where lunches and breaks are scheduled, with the flexibility to adjust daily schedule, and work over-time and/or weekends, as needed
