JOB SUMMARY

Provide support to financial leadership and business unit boards with financial analyses and projections that support the achievement of the company’s objectives.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Work as a true “business partner” with the sales team, actively participating in the creation and execution of the regional strategy.

Prepare managerial financial reports to monitor business results, such as: managerial P&L, monitoring sales by customer and product, monitoring commercial, technical and marketing expenses, detailing the impacts generated on the result by the variation in material and L&O costs.

Perform financial feasibility analysis of new investments, with scenario construction and sensitivity analyses, to increase capacity in production plants.

Monitor and interpret the evolution of prices and costs of the business units to which it provides support, working with the business on strategies to realign costs/margin.

Mitigate risks to the result by monitoring surplus and out-of-specification materials, supporting the business and operations in making efficient decisions – interface with the Supply Chain and the cost area.

Support in the preparation of the annual sales and expense plan through financial projections, as well as in the long-term strategic plan and in the monthly/quarterly reviews of the plan (forecast).

Critical analysis of the financial elements of rebate contracts (SIA-Sales Incentive Agreements) and sales commissions.

Monthly calculation of commissions on sales and processing for invoice payment.

Analyze the financial viability of launching new products and monitor after-sales performance.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

Education: Higher education degree in Economics, Accounting or Engineering with a PhD in Finance. A PhD or MBA in the area is desirable.

Language: Advanced English and Advanced Spanish as a differential.

Other desirable knowledge: Advanced Office package, Intermediate/Advanced Excel (pivot tables and macros), experience in SAP, knowledge of Power BI.
