We are currently seeking a Business Analyst (Child Support/Child Welfare) to join our team in Baton Rouge, Louisiana (US-LA), United States (US).
Overview of job:
The Business Analyst (BA) will be a member of an Enterprise Program/Project Management Office (EPMO). They will work as part of a larger team providing EPMO services for a Human Services agency establishing a governance portfolio foundational structure.
Job Responsibilities Include:
The BA will actively participate in the delivery of tasks/activities and associated deliverables, providing support for the team while developing the skills necessary to advance along the business and IT consulting career path. In collaboration with other NTT DATA Government Consulting and Advisory (GCA) consultants, the selected candidate will work as part of the project team. Working under the direction of the Project Manager. Other responsibilities of this position include:
Support the State and EPMO Managers in the development of governance and supporting structures for a Project Portfolio Management Office (PPMO)
Participate as part of the project team to identify and define the required methodology and processes
Participate in development and establishment of project management policies, governance, standards, processes, and procedures
Participate in the establishment of methodologies and identification of processes, roles and responsibilities
Assist with validation sessions to identify possible documentation gaps, recording minutes, and facilitation as needed
Review documentation to assess current processes and help team discuss future processes
Assist in the tracking, monitoring and reporting of activity progress
Provide support with planning, implementation and oversight of data management tasks
Provide support of testing management and test delivery
Leverage knowledge of state and federal policy and apply it when appropriate
Assist in the development of project deliverables
Attend project and status meetings
Support the State and EPMO Managers in reporting and communications
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 6 years work experience in Business Analyst role/capacity providing services on a large scale, modular business and technology modernization project
Minimum 4 years’ experience with Human Services agencies and programs
Undergraduate degree or 4 years equivalent combination of education and work experience
Minimum 4 years’ experience with State Child Support and/or Child Welfare Programs
Preferred Skills:
SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and Application Lifecyle Management (ALM) experience
Additional agile training and/or experience
Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $79,920 to $115,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short and long term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally-required benefits.
