The Role
Veeva R&D Latam is looking for an experienced Account Executive to drive sales of Veeva Vault R&D applications in Mexico. As the Account Executive for Veeva Development Cloud, you will be responsible for planning, generating opportunities, winning new business, and managing strategic relationships with life sciences companies (pharmaceutical, biotech, and animal health), aligning customer objectives with the Veeva Development Cloud solutions (Quality, Regulatory, Safety, and Clinical – https://www.veeva.com/products/development-cloud/)
Candidates should have experience in enterprise software sales or Consultative selling to the pharmaceutical industry and an ability to collaborate with internal colleagues across regions in both Spanish and English. A strong understanding of the life sciences industry, enterprise software sales cycle, and a passion for making market changes with innovative technology is ideal for this role.
What You’ll Do
Understand and present Veeva products and inspire prospect interest
Develop and execute territory/account/opportunity sales strategy
Manage relationships with key stakeholders across the business, IT, and C level
Meet/exceed pipeline generation and revenue targets
Contribute to team quarterly and annual sales goals
Manage complex sales cycles, utilizing internal and external resources as appropriate
Keep current with industry trends and engage customers in addressing their business challenges
Represent the Company at industry associations and events
Report and maintain timely and thorough notes pertaining to opportunities via Veevas CRM
Act with urgency, integrity, and a focus on the customer
Requirements
3+ years of experience selling to the life sciences or consulting experience for life sciences in one or more of our focus areas (clinical, quality, regulatory, safety)
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas
Strategic account planning and execution skills
Ability to work with a wide range of customers from end users to C-level
Native Spanish and Business English
Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Must be highly self-motivated and able to work with little direct supervision
A passion for solving customer business problems
Be willing to travel as required
