As an App Tester, your responsibilities will include:
– **Testing Apps**: Use beta versions of mobile apps to identify bugs, crashes, and performance issues.
– **Documenting Errors**: Log detailed bug reports in **Jira**, including steps to reproduce the issue and screenshots/videos.
– **Suggesting Improvements**: Provide feedback on UI/UX design to make apps more intuitive and user-friendly.
– **Collaborating with Developers**: Work closely with app developers to resolve issues and ensure a smooth user experience.
This is a **fully remote role**, so you can work from anywhere with a reliable internet connection. **No prior experience is required**—we provide **paid training** to teach you QA (Quality Assurance) best practices, bug-tracking tools, and how to write effective bug reports.
To get started, you’ll need to pass a **1-hour online assessment**, where you’ll:
1. Test a **demo app** and find at least 10 bugs.
2. Submit a brief report explaining the issues you found.
Once hired, you’ll join a dynamic team of testers and developers, with opportunities to grow into roles like **QA Analyst** or **UX Tester**. Plus, after 6 months, you’ll get to **keep the test devices** (phones/tablets) provided for your work!
