Daikin Applied is seeking a Program Manager of Solutions Plaza will oversee a 10,000 sq. ft. showroom showcasing equipment, solutions, and interactive displays. This role focuses on enhancing Daikin’s market position by delivering premium presentations and experiences, aligned with industry trends like electrification, refrigerant codes, and Indoor Air Quality (IAQ). You will assist with strategy and work to improve Daikin’s market presence and engage stakeholders such as Developers, Building Owners, Architects, Engineers, and Contractors. Location: Hybrid, Jersey City, NJ
What you will do:
Deliver premium experiences and presentations that position Daikin as a premier solutions provider focused with a focus on industry trends such as electrification, refrigerant codes, and Indoor Air Quality (IAQ).
Partner with cross-functional team members to develop and manage a library of content modules designed for key vertical markets
Host visiting Reps, including afterhours entertainment both in Solutions Plaza and the surrounding area and local sales representatives with customer activities, events, and virtual lunch & learns
Streamline the various uses of Daikin Appliedâs showroom to manage and document a repeatable high level customer experience
Interface with the Daikin marketing team to manage digital properties and to build recognition of Solutions Plaza among core audiences; showcase current content and promote new programs
Network with local and national industry organizations such as ASHRAE, NESEA, SMACNA, USGBC and others to drive interest in and engagement with the Daikin brand
Coordinate services with 3rd parties to ensure an unrivaled customer experience. Including technology partners, vendors, and suppliers
Partner with the corporate events and the Solutions Plaza teams to establish and follow process for planning and execution of customer visits
Support the development and documentation of a process for managing customer CRM data, ensuring the system accurately captures necessary and accurate data to engage visitors further in the purchase cycle
Support and make recommendations for the continuous development of the customer visit process including the content for presentation and the surrounding customer experiences
Assist with the development of programs dedicated to unique vertical markets and programming specific to rep organizations that have been identified as having upcoming business opportunities
Partner with the Solutions Plaza management team to coordinate with outside vendors to execute necessary tasks
Make space presentation ready prior to events
Build and maintain list of displayed assets and work with stakeholders to ensure the space reflects Daikin’s current offering and business direction

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelorâs Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
4-6 years of experience in training and/or presenting technical information to engineers and/or business managers.
Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position
Preferred Qualifications:
6-8 years of experience presenting to consulting engineers and executives
Knowledge and Expertise in applied manufacturing or HVAC sales
Required Qualifications:
Knowledge of HVAC design and industry trends, a deep understanding of Daikin products and solutions offering
Self-Starter and Results-Oriented- Develop and implement strategy to transform the use of the space by engaging both the sales channel and industry professionals
Superior analytical and communication skills -must be able to define problems, collect data, draw valid conclusions to efficiently communicate technical concepts to audiences of varying competency
Leadership – Exhibits confidence in self and in others; Inspires and motivates others to perform well. Effectively influences actions and opinions of others

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $96,200- $151,800 + Bonus potential in Jersey City, NJ. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
