We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Professional for Fire Station Alerting to join our team. This customer-facing role requires a blend of technical acumen, training expertise, and the ability to travel frequently.

In this role, you will have the satisfaction of working directly with customers, helping new users, and providing hands-on training. Your ability to communicate effectively and deliver exceptional customer service will be key to ensuring customer satisfaction and the successful implementation of US Digital Designs Phoenix G2 fire station alerting systems.

You will report directly to our Sr Customer Support Management Supervisor, and you’ll work remotely tied to the Honeywell location closest to you, ideally near a major airport for travel purposes.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement: Act as the in-field primary point of contact for customers, delivering high-quality service and support for fire station alerting systems.

Technical Expertise: Demonstrate a strong understanding of fire station alerting technology, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions to ensure optimal system performance.

Training and Support: Conduct comprehensive training sessions for end-users and installers, ensuring they are proficient in using the alerting systems. Provide ongoing support and technical assistance as needed.

Travel: Willingness and ability to travel extensively to various fire station locations to install, maintain, and support alerting systems

Documentation: Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, technical issues, and resolutions. Document training materials and user guides

Collaboration: Work closely with the internal team, including project managers, ISC, technical support

Manage Subcontractors: Oversee and coordinate subcontractors to ensure they meet project requirements and deadlines. Ensure that subcontractor work aligns with company standards and client expectations

Systems Inspection: check and evaluate the performance of fire station alerting systems to ensure they meet operational standards. Conduct site surveys and assessments.

The salary for this position in Illinois is ($68,200- 85,100). Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations. The application period for the job is estimated to be 40 days from the job posting date; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates.

YOU MUST HAVE

Proven experience in a customer-facing technical role or fire service/PSAP experience.

Strong technical skills and familiarity with fire station alerting systems or similar technology.

Excellent communication and training skills, with the ability to convey complex information in an understandable manner.

Ability to travel frequently and work independently in various locations across the United States and Canada.

Problem-solving mindset and ability to think critically under pressure.
