About us:

Grow Therapy is on a mission to serve as the trusted partner for therapists growing their practice, and patients accessing high-quality care. Powered by technology, we are a three-sided marketplace that empowers providers, augments insurance payors, and serves patients. Following the mass increase in depression and anxiety, the need for accessibility is more important than ever. To make our vision for mental healthcare a reality, we’re building a team of entrepreneurs and mission-driven go-getters. Since launching in February 2021, we’ve empowered more than ten thousand therapists and hundreds of thousands of clients across the country and insurance landscape. We’ve raised more than $178mm of funding from Sequoia Capital, Transformation Capital, TCV, SignalFire, and others.

What You’ll Be Doing:

We are looking for a Product Designer to support our Claims Engine and Billing Platform teams. You’ll design and implement innovative solutions that enhance our internal teams’ efficiency through best-in-class tooling. By conducting in-depth research with our Claims Specialists, you’ll gain valuable insights into their workflows, identifying opportunities to develop products that empower them to work more effectively. Your work will simplify the complexities of healthcare insurance, enabling us to better support both our internal teams and the clients we serve.

Day to Day:

Identify and address pain points in Claims Specialists’ workflows and tools, uncovering opportunities to enhance their experience, increase efficiency, and reduce errors.

Translate research insights into actionable recommendations for the Claims Engine Product and Engineering teams.

Design seamless, intuitive experiences for internal tools while collaborating with Engineering to work within platform constraints.

Provide design assets and work through edge cases with engineers throughout the development process.

Conduct usability testing to ensure all internal tools meet user needs and deliver value.

Document and visualize complex Billing systems to improve cross-team understanding and alignment.

Support and validate major Claims Engine initiatives such as exploring net-new product solutions and processes.

Partner with the Group Design Manager to conduct user research for long-term strategic initiatives.

You’ll Be a Good Fit If:

You get excited by making things more efficient and creating scalable solutions for internal teams

You are passionate about creating tools that make other’s jobs easier

You are able to distill complex processes into simple and elegant design solutions

Optional: You have experience working in healthcare tech, billing, or startups

If you don’t meet every single requirement, but are still interested in the job, please apply. Nobody checks every box, and Grow believes the perfect candidate is more than just a resume.

The salary range for this role is $121,378 – $149,850.
