Provide engineering support for equipment in Environmental Controls, Incineration Services, and Solvent Recovery to ensure that products and services are provided in a safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Take ownership of the equipment and budget for continuous operations of wastewater treatment plants, fume incinerators, commercial liquids and solids incinerators, distillation columns, and bulk tanks in a safe and compliant manner.
Develop preventative maintenance plans and critical spare parts inventory to ensure reliability of equipment.
Author change controls and commissioning documentation. Lead deviation investigations. Propose and implement effective corrective and preventative actions.
Act as the project responsible and/or lead projects for equipment repair, replacement, and installation.
Demonstrate critical thinking and troubleshooting capabilities.
Actively seek ways to improve processes, make the working environment safer, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in a field of engineering or commensurate experience required.
Knowledge of plant design, operations, project, maintenance, and process safety management. Knowledge of cGMP or heavily regulated operations preferred.
Demonstrated technical, analytical, problem-solving, and decision making skills. Strong mechanical aptitude. Ability to successfully overcome challenges and identify opportunities for improvements independently and in a team environment.
Proven ability to contribute to a positive, productive work environment and lead a group of people towards a set of common objectives without having direct supervisory responsibility.
Strong verbal and written communication and listening skills
Proficient in using Microsoft Office, SAP, and DeltaV (or other similar automation system).
Able to work in a high noise/high temperature environment, indoors or outdoors in all weather conditions. Available to be on call 24/7/365.
