The Holistic Health and Fitness (H2FIT) initiative is the Army’s investment in Soldier Readiness. The H2FIT Regional Manager (West) is responsible for personnel management of team members within their region and collaborating with the Program Manager (PM) in the contract’s overall performance, achieving performance standards, workforce management, customer satisfaction, contract compliance, and quality control. This position requires access to U.S. Government facilities and systems.

This is a Remote position.

In this role, you will:

Manage and support Lead Army Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) Strength and Conditioning Coach and Cognitive Performance Specialist teams who provide Soldiers within a Brigade a comprehensive understanding of strength, conditioning, and performance optimization through training plans and one-on-one coaching.

Oversee the daily operations of services in a defined region including geographically dispersed personnel.

Perform additional tasks other than supervising include training personnel and ensuring policies and procedures are followed to meet client needs.

Produce weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual reports, region service statistics, and maintain working relationships with internal and external customers.

Report to the Program Manager and assist in implementing H2F services across military installations.

Communicate effectively, have supervisory experience, be observant of others, and respond to inquiries of a complex nature.

Have excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

U.S. Citizenship.

The ability to pass a NACI (Tier 1) to obtain access to U.S. Government facilities and systems.

A bachelor’s degree and five (5) to seven (7) years of experience supervising teams across multiple locations or organizations.

To be able to work well with military and government personnel, and H2F team members.

To be proficient in MS Windows and Office 365.

The ability to communicate orally and in writing.

Familiarity with a variety of the Army’s concepts, practices, and procedures.

Fluency in written and spoken English.

The ability to travel up to 25%.

Additional desired experience and skills:

Active NACI.

Three years experience in the Army H2F Program (civilian, military or contractor).

Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach (CSCS) (preferred).

Experience managing human performance optimization teams (preferred).

Familiarity with the military culture and customs (preferred).

Familiarity with XVIII ABC and III Corps units (preferred).

Experience as a H2F Lead SCC (preferred).

Experience as a Government contractor (preferred)
