The Accreditation Manager provides strategic guidance and direction to assure new and continued accreditation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:

Demonstrates knowledge of the organization’s emergency operations plan and the role of Accreditation Manager in an emergency/disaster situation.

Applies knowledge of policies and procedures related to OSHA standards.

Enforces policy adherence consistent with AAAHC guidelines to maintain superb Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Improvement (QI).

Practices Quality Improvement measures according to QI policy.

Planning, designing, measuring, assessing, improving new or revised processes of patient care and service.

Facilitating a positive patient outcome, while maintaining a safe environment for personnel, patients and visitors.

Comprehends Sono Bello’s electronic tracking tools and databases and remains well-informed on updated content and materials therein.

Must be knowledgeable and maintain current understanding of all changes regarding policies, procedures and forms located on the Sono Bello Manuals Portal. The Accreditation Manager will be instrumental in developing new policies and forms, as needed for new service lines, AAAHC requirements, etc.

Assumes responsibility for the successful completion of initial and annual training requirements.

Attends and participates in scheduled clinic and corporate meetings as required.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Coordinates the quality improvement activities and AAAHC accreditation of Sono Bello at both the corporate and clinic levels.

Initiates and maintains AAAHC accreditation for all clinic sites by submitting and tracking (or supervising the submission and tracking) applications for surveys, managing the life cycle of accreditation terms, coordinating and completing survey corrective action logs and staying current on AAAHC requirements, standards, and guidelines.

Ensure compliance with nationally recognized standards and local, state, and federal guidelines.

Travels to and participates in accreditation surveys.

Serves as primary liaison between the organization and accreditation agency.

Conducts data collection where necessary to ensure ongoing quality, evaluates for unacceptable variation, and helps to identify opportunities for improvement by collecting, analyzing, and reporting on quality improvement activities, on-going AAAHC readiness, and researching and complying with state reporting laws and regulations impacting accreditation.

Compiles reports on critical processes such as: Physician peer review, environment of care issues, disaster preparedness measures (emergency drills), controlled substance annual inventories, safety device evaluation, and patient and staff complaints and grievances, related to AAAHC accreditation.

Coordinates the QA/QI committee topics, information, and meetings. Determines the content for the meetings and directs the committee.

Coordinates and participates in Governing Body activities as needed for accreditation.

Works with the centers on continued compliance with AAAHC standards throughout the accreditation cycle and any center need changes.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Bachelor’s Degree Required.

1 year of accreditation experience, preferably with AAAHC.

Proficient in basic computer skills and utilization of MS Office Suite.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

East Coast candidates will only be considered as this is required for the role to be remote.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENT:

This role requires up to 50-75% of nationwide travel based on business needs.

COMPENSATION:

At Sono Bello, we believe that our team members are the keys to our success. The compensation range for this role is $80,000 – $100,000 + Bonus.
