We are looking for you as a test engineer (f/m/d) for our location in Braunschweig as soon as possible. This position is full-time.

Your role at Alstom – What you can achieve with us

In our modern office at ARTmax in Braunschweig, over 250 colleagues from 26 countries are working on research and development for the digitalization of rail. The Corporate Functions make a significant contribution to supporting and continuously expanding the performance of our locations. In this role, you will report to the Validation & Verification Team Leader and work in a motivated and committed team.

Your tasks:

Development of software components:

Performing detailed design and coding of software components.

Setting up the software development tool chain.

Specifying, designing, preparing and carrying out tests and verifications of the products he/she supplies.

Support hardware/software integration, together with V&V designers.

Maintenance/expansion of the software for our test environment.

Extension of the automatic test framework.

Implementation of requirements in automatic test scripts and test specifications.

Your profile – What makes you suitable for the job

Completed university degree (Bachelor) in computer science or a related field.

Experience or understanding of working in an environment with the highest safety requirements (CENELEC SIL4).

Very good knowledge of C# and ideally experience in test automation.

Good knowledge of Windows Server or / Linux and virtualization environments.

Fluent German and English skills.
