Reporting into our Senior Manager of Brand Editorial, we’re looking for an outstanding Senior Copywriter – somebody who considers themselves to be primarily ‘A Writer’ as a vocation rather than simply their profession.

This individual will be able to genuinely move mountains and make a discernible difference when it comes to crafting copy that comes alive on the page.

We’re striving to create ‘the world’s finest’ in everything we do – therefore, we’re seeking a Senior Copywriter with that level of personal ambition inside; they are writing to demonstrate something to themselves, because they have something important to say, and the way that they can truly express themselves is through what comes out of their pen.

It’s that level of desire that we’re in search of – somebody with the energy of a Junior Staff Writer with the attention-to-detail and competence of a master.

Likewise, you must be someone who considers the prospect of writing brief snippets of copy as absorbing as writing in long-form, in that the task becomes even more engrossing: the obligation to write with maximum power in a minimal number of words.

This pivotal role will operate in a hybrid capacity from our planned Bicester location and/or one of our offices near Guildford, Leamington Spa or Bicester. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most visionary minds in the automotive field.

What you’ll do:

Write about the exhilarating things we’re doing within the automotive, luxury, and technology sectors, in addition to crafting customer-facing copy for our website and social media channels.

You’ll be writing awe-inspiring news, previews, and longform articles, carrying out interviews, helping to script speeches, producing social media posts and a series of blogs. Our aim is to produce beautiful, aspirational luxury lifestyle copy so that new and existing clients find themselves captivated by our world.

You’ll know how to use SEO keywords in a faultless and tasteful manner to drive traffic, how to write about contemporary culture, how to respond to up-to-the-minute online analytics, and, importantly, possess a roster of fresh and creative ideas to continually power our editorial strategy forward.

We’re building a complete world around our cars, and we want to be able to depend on you as an irrepressible fire hydrant of imaginative ideas.

Who you are:

Somebody who loves exploring and explaining new concepts and ideas; who relishes the opportunity to be able to articulate their thoughts through their words.

A background in luxury lifestyle journalism is ideal – arguably, as indispensable as having experience in automotive writing. Knowledge of emerging trends and developments in the technology sector is likewise a plus.

If you’ve been to journalism college, great. If you haven’t, fine. Really, what matters most is: can you write? Do you understand how to structure a multiplicity of different stories? Do you know how to switch gears multiple times in a long-form editorial piece so that it changes pace and maintains reader interest? Could you as effortlessly structure a screenplay as you could a novel or simply a 300-word NIB?

Crucially (and honestly), do you aspire to become the very best in your field?
