QA Tester
Location- Remote Work
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent related work experience
8-10 years of testing experience. Experience in network programming and/or developing/designing large software systems
Experience in testing different API’s
Roles and Responsibilities:
Write UI and API scripts to debug and fix the scripts if there are any issues
Write simple to complex queries
Make modifications to automation frameworks as needed
Good knowledge on JIRA in writing test cases, and test execution
Experience in testing different API’s
Collaborate with the QA Manager to plan, implement and make sure the strategic road map for testing services
Assist with the estimation, prioritization, planning and coordination of testing activities
Mentor and cross-trains QA staff onsite and offshore in the execution and support of unique testing services
Stay up-to-date on new testing tools and test strategies
Other duties as assigned
Must have Skills:
Agile testing
API testing experience
SQL knowledge
JIRA concepts
Desired Skills:
Banking/Capital market domain experience
Work Authorization

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $90,000 â $94,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
