Overview

The Lifeway Media team is seeking a Motion Graphic Designer | Remote who will create motion graphic content and occasional video editing that maintains Lifeway’s high-quality standard and brand accuracy. This position will provide motion designs for both marketing and product videos including logo animations, worship content, bumpers, and more.

This is a remote position in the U.S. with occasional travel to Nashville for in-person team gatherings. #LI-Remote

Responsibilities

Designs and creates a wide range of motion graphics, including bumpers, stingers, worship content, animations, and special effects, tailored to project needs.

Develops and refines creative concepts by studying project briefs, gathering inspiration, and reviewing materials to ensure alignment with project goals.

Works closely with internal teams and external partners to coordinate and execute tasks, ensuring projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.

Diagnoses and resolves technical issues related to motion graphics and video production

Provides video editing support as needed

Rotoscoping: Proficient in tracing and isolating elements in live-action footage for seamless visual effects integration

Renders motion graphics and encodes video files for optimal quality across various platforms

Qualifications

Education

BFA – film, communications, or related field, preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities, required

Live out Lifeway’s mission and values, showing deep commitment to Kingdom work

5+ years motion graphic design

Extensive experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere Pro

Proficient in using Mac computers, creative software, and plug-ins

Advanced motion graphic design skills

Thrives in fast-paced environments

Rendering & encoding

Understanding of common data storage methods and best practices.

Meets deadlines and enhances post-production quality through process evaluation consistently

Highly task-focused with a strong drive to complete projects

Manages multiple priorities and assignments with efficiency

Exercises strong judgment and leadership in decision-making

Capable of coordinating small projects and contributing to other projects

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Highly organized with a keen eye for detail

Actively involved in a local Christian church

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities, preferred

Experience in Maya, 3D, and Cinema 4D
