Compensation: $24.00 – $35.00 hourly based on experience and credentials
Location Type: Hybrid a flexible work model blending in-office and remote working
Position Type: Full Time
Schedule: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM Monday through Friday
The Business Technology Analyst plays a vital role in the Mortgage Delivery Department. This individual administers mortgage-related software applications by assisting with product configurations and system releases. This role maintains and safeguards confidential and proprietary information. An ideal candidate is a highly reliable individual who enjoys establishing interpersonal relationships with peers and internal staff.
Responsibilities
Resolve and troubleshoot system-related issues
Provide users with tech support
Respond to staff tickets for technology support in a quick and efficient manner
Manage system user account creations and terminations
Verify and modify user security access rights as needed
Troubleshoot, diagnose, document, and effectively resolve a variety of issues generated through the helpdesk system via phone, email, or in-person requests
Maintain the Mortgage LOS & POS and assist Sr. Business Technology Analyst with required configurations
Evaluate recommendations for improved methods and assist with the implementation
Test new software releases in QA & staging environments to determine the impact of installations on the production site
Demonstrate or present new functionalities to business and technology stakeholders
Collaborate designs and development of test scripts to identify defects prior to production deployment
Escalate technology or configuration defects to leadership and project stakeholders
Configure and maintain Technology Change Requests including SQL formulas, change validation process, and test script creation
Develop, revise, and create new required forms for report file generation
Consult with users on revisions and modify forms or scripts
Enable accurate configuration in the mortgage origination system by following steps and processes to originate loans in mortgage origination systems
Maintain knowledge and understanding of current trends, laws, and issues affecting the area of expertise
Attend educational events to increase professional knowledge
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance, information technology, or a related field (A comparable combination of work experience and training may be substituted for education requirements)
2+ years of experience in business process analysis and software applications, preferably with a financial institution
Experience with supporting and maintaining lending software or similar systems preferred
Good knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance necessary to successfully perform job responsibilities, including MDIA, RESPA, HMDA, ECOA, and KBYO
Good knowledge and understanding of Credit Union products, services, policies, and procedures, including Fannie Mae LLPA and PMI factors
Ability to prioritize tasks, deal effectively with competing and changing priorities to meet deadlines
Accurate, detail-oriented, and organized with task management
Ability to analyze and resolve difficult and complex problems
Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to interact effectively with members, staff, vendors, and government regulators
Ability to influence others regarding policies, practices, and procedures
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
