As a Lead Clinical Medical Content Editor, you’ll develop, maintain, and review proprietary medical information for online publication. You’ll contribute to new product development and content decisions.
Responsibilities;
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple priorities successfully.
Collaborating with staff to develop new content, suggest organization improvements, and enhance content clarity.
Researching and authoring original medical content for various topics.
Updating existing topics with new diagnostic and medical procedures, ensuring accuracy.
Verifying and updating descriptions of medical conditions and procedures.
Ensuring medical references are current and authoritative.
Writing highly readable prose for lay readers, nurses, and physicians.
Submitting work for collaborative peer review and responding to feedback.
Reviewing and improving the clarity, accuracy, and accessibility of information.
Managing contractors, including budget and invoicing.
Identifying and correcting omissions or errors in data.
Leading special content development projects and supporting product development initiatives.
Achieving productivity by meeting deadlines and departmental goals.
Assisting in shaping, managing, and tracking delivery schedules.
Collaborating with and overseeing the work of Medical Advisory Board members.

Requirements;
Have clinician experience with medical writing skills.
Demonstrate excellent medical writing skills.
Have a working knowledge of evidence-based medicine.
Hold a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in communications or medical studies.
Be equally competent in medical knowledge and English exposition.
Have demonstrable writing/editing skills in medical discourse.
Possess proficiency in written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in online publishing is an advantage.
Be capable of managing remote contractors.
Possess working knowledge of drug and formulary content
Be able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple priorities successfully.

Minimum :
