COMPENSATION: $90k – $100k

REMOTE / ONSITE: Hybrid

Our client is an investment firm driving growth with a diverse portfolio of commercial real estate assets and other ventures. They are looking to add a Fund Accounting Manager to their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$90k – $100k plus Bonus

Position Overview:

The Fund Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the review process on the SSC Mortgage REIT/ SSHCOF II/ and PACE funds. This role ensures compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies. The Fund Accounting Manager is responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports and provides leadership to the fund accounting team.

Responsibilities of the Fund Accounting Manager:

Keep track of your monthly cash.

Track shares for investors in REITs.

Accountable for the fund administrator’s monthly evaluation of the financial package.

Make certain that financial reports and statements are prepared accurately and on schedule.

Examine and accept valuations, reconciliations, and other accounting tasks.

For stakeholders, prepare and evaluate periodic financial reports.

Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards.

Organize audits and give auditors the required paperwork and assistance.

Reconcile the PACE lending side’s accrual and payment timelines.

Assure adherence to all applicable regulations, including those set forth by the SEC, IRS, and other authorities.

Keep abreast of modifications to laws and accounting guidelines that affect fund accounting.

To guarantee compliance, establish and maintain internal controls.

Qualifications for the Fund Accounting Manager:

Real estate fund accounting experience of at least three years is preferred.

Prioritized is experience with REITs.

Advanced knowledge of Excel.

Capable of handling multiple projects at once and meeting deadlines.

Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.

CPA or CPA candidate is preferred.
