Our client is seeking a motivated and dynamic individual with a strong tax background to join the team as the Financial Planning Manager. This is an incredible opportunity for someone with 2-5 years of experience who is looking to grow their career from an entry-level position into a leadership role over time. They are offering a flexible work environment with unlimited PTO, allowing for remote work or in-office presence as preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the financial advisory team to develop and implement comprehensive financial plans for clients.

Leverage your tax expertise to provide strategic advice and optimize clients’ financial situations.

Assist with tax planning and preparation while gradually transitioning into a more advisory-focused role.

Participate in client meetings, offering insights and building relationships to support their financial goals.

Work closely with senior management to grow into the Director of Financial Planning role, with potential to pursue a CFP designation.

Provide support for the firm’s internal financial processes, with minimal focus on business development.

Qualifications

2-5 years of experience in accounting or tax, with some client interaction.

Enrolled Agent (EA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.

Strong desire to move beyond tax preparation and into a strategic advisory role.

Ability to work independently, with flexibility to manage a hybrid work schedule.

Local to the area, with availability to attend in-office meetings and client appointments as needed.

Excellent communication skills and a passion for helping clients achieve their financial goals.

Driven to develop into a Director of Financial Planning

Compensation

$90,000-110,000 base salary with bonus opportunities. (Total compensation: $130,000-150,000)
