CUMULUS MEDIA (Atlanta) has an immediate, fully remote opening for a Digital Content Analyst. The Digital Content Analyst position offers the opportunity to work in a challenging and engaging environment with visibility among the executive Content and Digital leadership roles and teams. This position will lead analysis creation and ongoing work for next-gen metrics, across a multi-platform company. The role will collaborate with the Content (Programming) and Digital teams to achieve the financial and operational objectives providing relevant analysis and insights. You will be involved in supporting both corporate and local market strategic initiatives, enjoying ample opportunities to own independent work streams and play an integral part in guiding the future performance and growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with leadership to develop insights and actionable intelligence to better drive operational and financial performance.
Apply critical thought and analytical rigor to business problems and development of proposed solutions.
Support preparation of data and supporting analytics for content performance
Create and operationalize key business metrics.
Assist business leaders in the development and tracking of critical key performance indicators.
Support business owners with ad hoc analysis to drive content strategies, operational improvements, and organizational focus.
Participate in regular reviews of results & produce insights and commentary.
Prepare summaries and presentations
Qualifications:
BS / BA degree required; advanced degrees or designations is a plus.
1-3+ years of experience in related planning and analysis
Experience and aptitude in analysis for audiences with a focus in digital audiences and their intersection with traditional media/audience platforms
Previous exposure to traditional media and digital advertising analysis preferred
Excellent advanced organizational and pattern recognition skills and superb attention to detail
Intellectual curiosity supported by high standards of excellence and pride in work.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Ability to analyze and visualize large quantities of data and identify critical trends.
Advanced quantitative analysis, modeling, and Excel skills
Proven and demonstrable ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Honesty, integrity, maturity, confidentiality, and the ability to exercise discretion in this position are critical.
