The Headlines:

In the role ofAssociate Analytics Managerworking in Chicago, IL, you will be a part of MCBC’s Commercial Accelerator. Projects will cross commercial and operational bounds and will be data oriented, but with the ultimate goal of helping Molson Coors find avenues of growth and efficiency. While the data we work with is backward looking, we will use it to drive forward looking actions.

This positionworks closely with internal stakeholders including sales, brand, channel, and operations teams.

The Responsibilities:

You will manage the Annual Distributor Business Plan, from determining how to scorecard key metrics, KPI identification, and building the national scorecard

You will build national tools and insights to make our field sales employees more efficient and effective

You will develop industry estimates and forecasts using various incomplete data sources

You are a data expert, and will help support executive questions related to sales and distribution trends

You will build and maintain analytical models that support decision making

You will lead the development and execution of custom analyses focused on quantitative methods and conduct quality checks to ensure model validity

You will solicit strategic and tactical hypotheses from key decision makers to drive project design

You will transform model results into insights and deliver action-oriented presentations that provide consultative direction to key stakeholders

The Other Qualifications:

You have a Bachelor’s degree in the quantitative field (i.e. Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Finance) or, better yet, an MBA or Masters (ideally with statistics or research focus).

You have excellent technical skills in Microsoft Excel, and skills in either R, Python, SQL, SAS, SPSS or equivalent statistical software and/or programming language

You are skilled in data visualization projects, ideally with tableau

You can identify and synthesize data to provide insights on key business issues through your proven analytic problem-solving skills

You also have experience in statistical modeling

Ideally you are experienced with Business Objects and the CPG Industry

You are confident and competent. You are diplomatic, professional and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent business relationships within the business
