Accounts Payable Vendor Manager

$55,000 – $65,000

Job Description:

Job Title: AP Vendor Manager

Location: East Lansing, MI

Compensation: $50,000 – $60,000.

Schedule: M-F 8:30a – 4:30a & hybrid work arrangement (2-3 days).

AP Vendor Manager Responsibilities:

Data Entry: Input approximately 120 invoices per month per community into Sage 50 (transitioning to NetSuite for automation).

Vendor Management: Communicate with vendors to resolve inquiries and discrepancies promptly.

Forecasting: Analyze accounts payable data to forecast monthly expenses and maintain budgeting.

Bill Processing: Enter bills into Sage 50, trigger payments, and manage check printing and mailing.

AP Vendor Manager Qualifications:

Must Have:

Invoice coding and bill entry experience

Proficiency in accounting calendar management

2-3 years of high-volume AP experience

Strong vendor communication skills

Preferred:

Healthcare or nonprofit background

Familiarity with Sage 50 or NetSuite

Degree in Accounting or related field
