The Network Engineer Associate role is an entry level opportunity with BayCare.
Candidate MUST reside in the state of Florida.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the implementation and support of LAN, WAN and Wireless networks across BayCare.
Responsible for ensuring all networks are stable and meet our customers’ needs, while utilizing best security practices.
Supports cabling systems, switches, routers, loan balancers, wireless controllers/APs and other related network services.
Works closely with other members of Information Services to troubleshoot technical issues (e.g. slow response or application errors).
Should have knowledge of TCP/IP, wireless networking, routers and switches.
Desirable expertise includes troubleshooting PCs/handheld wireless devices.
Perform other duties as assigned. On call duty is required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Required experience includes 4 years of Network experience with High School diploma or equivalent or 1 year Networking experience with Bachelor’s degree.
Preferred:
Wireless experience
