Title: Supply Chain and Operations – Sourcing and Procurement Senior Manager

Location: This role can sit anywhere in the US as long as it is near an Accenture Corporate Office

You are:

A seasoned leader in Sourcing and Procurement with a proven track record of driving transformation and delivering measurable results for clients. You will define and lead sourcing strategies, optimize procurement functions, and manage supplier relationships at a senior level. Your deep expertise in procurement and supplier management enables you to advise clients on complex challenges and lead teams to deliver solutions. You drive the integration of digital technologies and process innovations to enhance efficiency and support sustainable procurement practices.

The work:

Develop Sourcing Strategies: Lead the development and execution of strategic sourcing initiatives that align with clients’ business objectives, reduce procurement costs, and enhance supplier value.

Procurement Process Optimization: Oversee the optimization of procurement processes, ensuring efficiency and scalability across the supply chain.

Supplier Management & Negotiation: Lead complex supplier negotiations and foster strategic, long-term supplier relationships that drive value for the client.

Data-Driven Insights: Use advanced data analytics to track performance metrics, identify cost-saving opportunities, and guide procurement decisions.

Client Collaboration: Partner closely with senior client stakeholders to develop and execute customized sourcing strategies that support business goals.

Technology Integration: Spearhead the integration of digital tools and automation technologies to streamline procurement workflows and increase visibility.

Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead large, cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery, aligning procurement goals with broader organizational strategies.

Thought Leadership & Business Development: Contribute to business development activities, including sales origination, thought leadership, and cultivating new client relationships.

Travel Expectations:

Hybrid approach is current norm – roughly 30-90% travel expected based on client needs.

Qualification

Here’s what you need:

Minimum of 7 years of experience in Sourcing, Procurement, or Supply Chain roles, with a focus on strategy development and supplier management.

Minimum of 4 years of consulting experience or equivalent in a senior leadership role within the industry.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.

Proven ability to lead complex, multi-functional projects, manage client relationships, and deliver strategic outcomes.

Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

Bonus points if:

You have expertise in procurement software tools (e.g., SAP Ariba, Oracle Procurement Cloud, Coupa).

You hold Lean, Six Sigma, or similar advanced certifications.

You have experience with digital procurement transformation and automation technologies.

You are skilled in data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx).

MBA or other advanced degrees preferred

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York or Washington as set forth below.
