YOUR MISSION
As the Digital Strategist, Sales and Marketing , you will be responsible for increasing the impact of digital marketing and generating revenue from digital activities across Cirque du Soleil Group, including the Touring Shows (DST) and Fixed Shows (DSF) divisions, Blue Man Group and MGM. Reporting directly to the President and COO, you will be responsible for driving growth by creating a more sophisticated and centralized digital ecosystem that will serve all business units. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the teams responsible for digital media, online digital experience, data and analytics for digital and online activities, while collaborating with cross-functional teams within the Brand, Sales and Marketing divisions. You will have approximately two direct reports and your team will be composed of approximately 25 employees.
The digital, sales and marketing strategist will have to:
– Be responsible for the conceptualization and implementation of all elements related to digital platforms (Google Analytics, CM 360, DV 360, SA 360).
– Create processes and structures for the integration of the digital strategy into the respective overall plan of the divisions
– Define key elements (e.g., data usage, reporting processes, platform optimization) for the effective deployment of the digital strategy and develop a plan or collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve this;
– Generate innovative ideas on Cirque du Soleil’s current and future digital platforms, inspire teams to create digital marketing experiences that challenge conventions and move from a digital service approach to a revenue growth strategy;
– Influence collaboration with the DST Marketing team, increase efficiency by improving and building on the digital program or product design infrastructure, and contribute to the improvement of processes and practices to maximize ticket sales;
– Collaborate in digital channel decision-making to optimize sales generation across divisions, and lead and coach team members to foster a more innovative, results-driven culture.
The ideal candidate has the following:
– A minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in a similar role: software technology innovation and software development methodologies;
– Proven track record of successfully building compelling digital marketing products and infrastructure, with a demonstrated ability to drive revenue in high-growth, fast-paced environments;
– Demonstrated ability to develop and deploy global digital transactional marketing approaches that have a strong impact on customers and increase market share;
– A keen sense of digital business: user-centric software development methodologies, web-based infrastructures and data analytics;
– Demonstrated ability to provide leadership by influencing others and leading change management efforts;
– An ability to build strong internal relationships for enhanced collaboration and engage others through strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;
– An entrepreneurial spirit and a sense of initiative, an ability to explore unknown lands successfully and a desire to achieve results;
– A bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
