Your Future Role

From Vienna to the world: our Viennese site is a global competence center for trams and light rail vehicles. 800 colleagues develop and manufacture the FlexityT tram for worldwide customers from Austria to Australia. Our product line Rolling Stock & Components offers products from the broadest portfolio in the rail industry. Our innovation focus is on green and smart solutions, including emission-free propulsion systems such as batteries and hydrogen.You’ll report to Financial Director RSC Ligh Rail DACH and lead a dedicated team of 3 employees.

We’ll look for you to:

Provide accurate and transparent information, support, and performance enablers to the site management team.

Assist the Site Managing Director in all financial matters by providing guidance, interpreting data/figures, and acting as an interface between site functions.

Monitor and forecast the QCD financial indicators of the relevant sites.

Set targets and establish a control environment for cost management within the sites to maximize performance.

Monitor financial flows and validate the final reports.

Control and validate the financial data provided by the site functions.

Challenge and offer insights for risk or variance analyses.

Provide financial support to business management, backed by consolidated data and analysis.

Provide all necessary analysis and assistance to the central management control team.

Work at actual, forecast, and budget levels.

Develop action plans to optimize performance and implement corrective actions.

Follow restructuring and capacity extension plans if any.

Validate the site budget, 3-Year Plan, Rolling Forecast, and Reporting.

Set the environment to collect, consolidate, analyze, and validate financial data in order to produce actual budget and forecasts, draw conclusions on variances of resource allocation, and recommend corrective action.

Manage the site controlling team.

At least 7 years of experience in Accounting/Controlling/Audit is mandatory for the role

Demonstrate Honesty and Integrity, Courage and Conviction

Ability to Work in an International Environment

Leadership experience

Excellent analytic skills

High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation

analyses.

Ability to manage big data as a large part of business operations

Strategic thinker and planner

Fluency in English is mandatory for the role, German would be a plus.

The minimum salary for this position is ? 80.000 EUR gross annually for full-time employment according to the collective bargaining agreement.
