Compensation Range:$70000-$100000. Compensation may vary based on applicant’s work experience, education level, skill set, and/or location.

Job Purpose

The OEM Manager will act as the central point of contact for major OEM lift truck manufacturers in the Americas. In this role, they will be responsible for engaging the OEM at a corporate level as well as work with their distribution network. They will be involved with structuring and managing OEM sales agreements and contracts that are in place to help facilitate EnerSys product growth within the OEM’s reach. They will work with various levels of OEM sales, marketing and engineering to ensure that communication is optimized, and the client is directed toward promotion and integration of our most value-added product solutions. The OEM Manager will work with our Engineering and OEM Technology and Integration Specialist to build toward integrated OEM solutions to bring to market with TPPL, Ion and Wireless Charging.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain and grow incremental sales revenue for all EnerSys brands in North America with assigned OEM clients

Set schedule to have constant interfacing with OEM Corporate Sales, Aftermarket, Marketing, National Account and Engineering departments

Travel to participate in the major OEM distributor’s meetings, seminars and training functions to represent EnerSys

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and primary contacts within the assigned OEM client and distribution network

Create and execute sales presentations for various levels of the OEM and distributor network in conjunction often with the EnerSys field representative for the OEM distributor in that region

Act as liaison between customer service, marketing, credit and/or legal for customer requirements

Exercise discretion and independent judgment when dealing with critical matters within thebusiness unit

A minimum of 40% travel out of the home office is expected

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 5 years sales experience within motive power battery & material handling OR 7 years’ experience within motive power battery & material handling with no degree.

Experience in negotiating and developing client contracts & agreements

Experience with creating and presenting PowerPoint presentations

Computer Skills

Fluency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint

Travel Requirements

Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record with minimal traffic violations

Must be 21 years of age to drive a company vehicle

Able and willing to travel to customer sites, occasionally on short notice

Able and willing to do overnight travel when required

US Passport for occasional international travel is required

Ability to travel easily in North America
