The Role
You will be a member of a growing business unit at Veeva and will be accountable for defining and shaping the market and understanding customers’ unmet needs. The position requires a deep understanding of and experience with pharmaceutical, commercial, and medical processes and technologies. You will be responsible for identifying and executing key commercial deals in partnership with sales and products, as well as managing key client projects and relationships with the largest global pharmaceutical companies. You will maintain a public presence for the business at industry events and conferences and ensure the continued rapid growth of our market share.
What You’ll Do
Define the customer strategy for Veeva Link Commercial and oversee its execution
Advise our Product Management team on market dynamics and evolving customer needs
Work with our sales and marketing teams to ensure relevant marketing messaging and the success of our sales organization as it scales
Directly accountable for large pharmaceutical clients and their relationship with Veeva Link
Requirements
10+ years of experience in professional services/consulting with a focus on the pharmaceutical commercial/data sectors
Deep healthcare environment understanding and experience
Experience with specialty pharmaceuticals and a general understanding of treatment pathways
Strong network across the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device industry, particularly in Brand/Business Unit Leadership, Sales, Marketing, and Medical Affairs
Strong track record translating customer needs into product innovation and solutions
Excellent critical thinking, analysis, and presentation skills
Ability to travel extensively for customer meetings and internal events in the future

Compensation
Base pay: $125,000 – $300,000
The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.

Customer-facing roles, such as Sales and Professional Services, live near and/or travel to their customers.
