Vaco is hiring a Medical Biller for a full time staff role! Hybrid work environment after 6 months training. Benefits included!

Responsibilities:

Manage and process medical claims, ensuring accurate and efficient medicalbilling for services provided.

Verify patient information and insurance details to ensure proper billing and eligibility.

Follow up on unpaid or denied claims, working with insurance companies (both government and non-government)and patients to resolve issues.

Review and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy of payments and adjustments according to payer contracts

Requirements:

Previous experience in Medical Billing with a solid understanding of insurance guidelines

Claim denial, edits, and Follow Up experience

Clear communication skills to help resolve unpaid and improperly filed claims and payments

Team player who can work well with othersin a fast paced environment

Epic Experience – preferred

Previous experience with Medicare and Medicaid – preferred
