Mission
Reporting direct to the Senior Director Customer Development Italy, this role will be responsible for:
Design and implement the commercial strategy in Pharma Channel, in accordance with Global/Divisional and local requirements and business priorities
Coordinate and supervise planning and timely execution of local channel 5 Ps plans by strictly monitoring implementation and progress
Drive Colgate company credentials, reputation, pharmacists and dentists endorsement
Coordinate Professional Oral Care team to ensure channels bridge priorities consistency, plans alignment and maximized business impact
Strengthen partnership with the distributor to enhance effectiveness and efficacy and ensure flawless execution of our Go To Market
Identify and activate Pharma Growth Initiatives by building expertise on Pharma Shopper/RE Insights
Develop robust Pharma Business analysis and ensure appropriate pharma channel management support through our standard commercial discipline
Enhance team competencies, capabilities and cross collaboration between commercial and professional teams
Key Responsibilities
Define strategy and GTM approach for Oral Care in the Pharma RE. Ensure Distributor’s superior engagement and adherence to the plans
Drive the sales (sell in, sell through, sell out) and profitability through:
Specific RE strategy and 5Ps, commercial plans in alignment with the strategy and support plan implementation and 5P’s communication tools development
Adapt OC activity grid by Pharma Sub RE and identify key activities to grow the channel profitably
Actively manage the RE GTN investment, from planning to execution.
Drive Colgate company credentials, reputation, pharmacists endorsement and demand in alignment with Divisional priorities, Professional Oral Care team and local commercial business needs. Define and secure appropriate channel role to frame strategy and plans accordingly. Identify, prioritize Shopper/RE Insights for Pharma (to be the expert in the Company)
Drive Professional Oral Care team to ensure channels bridge priorities consistency, plans alignment and maximized business impact – Continuous alignment with Professional marketing team on channel commercial and professional priorities, build strong synergies to maximize the joint impact of our joint GTM by promoting a strong partnership between dental and pharmacy field teams to execute with excellence. Leverage on shared education to align professional targets and teams to lock and amplify the impact.
Set distribution objectives, define and agree field force incentives, define and agree canvass priorities, monitor implementation and address gaps / opportunities. Actively provide input on retailer perspective in the commercial process. Drive distributor engagement and education via training. Ensure appropriate communication flow via specific strategic and operative meetings and ease collaboration by field coaching.
Develop robust Pharma Business analysis. (e.g. SOM, Distrib., sell through, promo effectiveness and compliance)
Define RE Budget / LE Financial Goals and plans aligned with strategy
Identify gaps and opportunities via Monthly Commercial discipline
5P’s tracking, for continuously monitoring and working on deviations when needed.
Strong organizational, interpersonal and cross-functional skills. Comfortable in working in matrix structure
Background e Skills required
Level of Education/Experience:
University Degree in business administration (Marketing or Sales); alternatively, degree in pharmacy or natural sciences
10 years of Sales and/or Marketing role, demonstrating managerial & leadership skills. Experiences in Healthcare industry will be a plus
Specific Requirements:
Proven track record in healthcare business management; experience in dental or pharmacy retail environments is a plus
Marketing and commercial management skills
Advanced proven Leadership Skills: business perspective and leading change, negotiation skills and composure
People Management experience
Italian and English fluent
Functional Experience and Technical/LeadershipSkills:
Excellent written and verbal communication & presentation skills
Experience in working in a commercial organization/commercial perspective. Knowledge of the Italian Pharma trade is a plus
