We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Customer Development Executive to join our dynamic team, focusing on the Super Market Channels. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and market share growth within assigned supermarket accounts, leveraging Colgate-Palmolive’s product portfolio.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at supermarket chains. Serve as the primary point of contact for these accounts, understanding their needs and developing strategies to meet them.

Business Development:Develop and execute joint business plans with supermarket accounts to drive sales and distribution of Colgate-Palmolive products. Identify growth opportunities within the market and implement initiatives to capitalize on them.

Sales and Revenue Generation:Achieve sales targets and objectives for assigned supermarket accounts. Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and implement corrective actions where necessary to ensure targets are met or exceeded.

Promotional Planning and Execution:Collaborate with marketing and trade marketing teams to plan and execute promotional activities, displays, and campaigns within supermarkets. Monitor promotional effectiveness and ROI.

Market and Competitive Analysis:Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences within the supermarket channels. Use insights to develop winning strategies and tactics.

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.

Proven experience (2+ years) in sales, customer development, or key account management within the FMCG Industry, preferably in the supermarket channel.

Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.

Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Fluency in English.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
