JOB DESCRIPTION
An employer in the Irving, TX area is hiring a Quality Assurance Engineer with strong mobile application testing experience as well as hardware testing experience. This resource will be joining their internal product testing team. The candidate will be involved in end-to-end testing including analysis of requirements, test case creation, functional testing and defect tracking in an agile environment. Products expand from IOT, mobile devices and internal security devices.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
MUST BE LOCAL TO DFW- position is remote
-8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance Testing
-Strong mobile native application testing experience (iOS and Android)
-Hardware testing experience: iphones/tablets/cameras
-IOT experience
Strong knowledge with SQL queries
-De-bugging experience using Splunk
-Postman: experience analyzing logs
-Web application testing experience
-Experience working with QC, ALM and Jira
-Agile experience
-Design and build test cases for new features and functions
-Support the Test Automation team in identifying appropriate tests to automate
-Collaborate and strategize with the QA Team to manage risk in tight deadlines
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
-Prior experience in security and home automation testing
-Experience testing ADT like security or smart home automation systems
-Experience using Google/Alexa with Home automation
-Experience in a Linux environments (viewing logs, executing commands)
